The Zitola Terrace residence is situated blocks from the ocean in Playa del Rey that is nestled in a hillside. The project included an addition of an above-ground spa, barbecue area, fire pit, and patio in a terraced hillside. The hillside restricted site was organized so that the spa, also an infinity-edge waterfall would provide a soothing background ambiance where the big multi-slider glass doors would be added to the existing residence for an extension of the living area from the interior.
